Predicting the future of alumni career services

When alumni are surveyed about the types of initiatives they want to see developed on their behalf, career-focused programs almost always rank at the top of their list. In addition, alumni often ask for opportunities to mentor students, attend networking events, and access experts who can provide advice and career education.

But do these career services initiatives stimulate the alumni engagement activity our surveys suggest? What events, programs, and initiatives work to strengthen the university’s professional network and increase participation among alumni, students, and other stakeholders?

During our next webinar, we’ll ask industry experts Gloria Ko, Allison McWilliams, and Pat Fligge for their take on where the field of alumni career services is headed. Join host Ryan Catherwood on November 29th at 1:00 pm. EDT for a conversation about what works, what doesn’t, and how professionally-themed programs fit into the big picture for alumni engagement teams.
