I was unsure what to expect or in fact what I could offer a student preparing for their life’s journey. Could someone approaching the end of their career offer anything that would be relevant and useful? Would it be awkward and difficult to find common ground to begin with? Hitting it off is not assured, but it is well worth trying. Each of us have a story that can help others gain clarity in finding their purpose and path and this is one easy and enjoyable way to give back.

Great experience, wonderful questions. You do it right at Pitt..... I participate at another university in Q&A and they have the graduates contact the applicants , some of whom never respond because they are not interested in talking with the Alumni... a waste of time for the alumni!
