Building a medical career, connections with experienced alumni can be immensely valuable. As this Northwestern freshman prepares for a summer in the Orange County/LA area, he seeks shadowing opportunities.

Sometimes help is “indirect” — a connection from an alum, a referral. Alumni are often looking for any & all ways to help, and making an introduction feels great.

The "ask"

Hi! I am a current freshman at Northwestern, looking to major in Neuroscience and Anthropology. I am hoping to do a Biology Allied Field for Northwestern and a Concentration in Human Biology for the Anthropology major.

I would love to talk to an alum who would be also available for shadowing opportunities in the Orange County / Los Angeles area this summer. Being a Pre-med student, I am hoping to connect with an alumni who has gone through medical school, and in the medical field.
