We often advocate that anyone in your community should be free to ask for help, and get it. That includes faculty looking for alumni to share their real-life perspectives, participate in panels, or review materials.

With Protopia, faculty are no longer restricted to the few alumni they know or required to check with the advancement office if they can engage a specific supporter. All they have to do is share a need.

The "ask"

I am a professor of Global Commerce. This semester, I’m teaching Global Sport & Profit.

I’m looking to book guest speakers this semester to discuss their professional career path, role/responsibilities, and the challenges/opportunities in their industry. If you fall into one of these categories, I hope you’ll consider responding:

* Player or former player in any professional sport

* Agent, union staff, any player advocacy

* Any function on the business side of sports, like sales/marketing/sponsorships/community partnerships/supply chain/facilities management/talent management/finance/etc

Details:

In-person speakers willing to be in the classroom and engage directly with students.
Class starts at 8:30 a.m.! My syllabus has a list of dates set aside, but I can work with your schedule.

I can help you to pick the topic and structure your presentation. Any perspective is welcome!

If you’d like to stay on campus after class, we can plan additional conversations with students/faculty, including lunch or dinner.

Hello! I am currently a network sports anchor at iHeart Radio. I have over 25 years as a sports anchor in NYC, Chicago and Washington, D.C.

In addition, I have worked as a NFL sideline reporter for Fox Sports, the Chicago Bulls and the pre-game host for the NY Yankees/Mets(WPIX-TV) and the Chicago White Sox(Fox Sports Chicago.)
