DUKE FRESHMAN SEEKING SPORTS MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP

When I tell prospective customers that it’s important to distinguish Protopia from ChatGPT because there’s no instant gratification but rather a real human connection, I inevitably get asked “well, how long does it typically take to get an answer?”
About 72 hours, on average. Sometimes it’s 10 minutes, sometimes 3 or more weeks. It’s a factor of supply (of relevant alumni), the quality of the question, time of the week / month / year, strength of the community, and other factors.
So we carefully set an expectation with students that it may take time to get even the busiest alum to respond.
That won’t do much good for this student who managed to set a new record for “alumni responses” with four fantastic answers within 24 hours.
Maybe it’ll be more difficult next time 😉

My name is STUDENT, and I am a freshman at Duke University. I am thoroughly interested in working in the sports industry, and have nurtured my passion for sports throughout the years – I created an athletic shoe design company in high school; I wrote a policy paper detailing improvements possible for women’s basketball; I played high school baseball; and I am currently a Student Manager for the Duke SPORTS team.
As I am interested in working in sports, specifically sports management and/or representation, I would like to know of any opportunities for internships or shadowing of professionals in the industry. I believe I could greatly benefit from any experience in the space, so any potential opening would be a fantastic opportunity.Â
